How it works

#01 Fill in the form

We need information about the survivor and the history of the violence she suffered. This data is necessary for us to be able to refer her in the most appropriate way for her case.

#02 Search for professionals

Based on the information in the form, we will look for volunteer psychologists and/or lawyers who are available to assist the survivor.

After receiving the volunteer's contact details, the survivor should get in touch to schedule the first appointment.

What to expect
from the service?

Free of charge

All the services provided via Mapa do Acolhimento are voluntary and therefore 100% free for as long as they last.

Autonomy

You decide when to start the service, respecting the 15-day deadline for the first contact. If you want to stop for any reason, you also have that freedom.

Flexibility

The service can take place online or in person. The modality must be agreed directly between the survivor and the volunteer.

Free will

The volunteer will not make decisions for you. The role of the professionals is to inform you of your rights and offer you the support you need to follow the path of your choice. The person who violated you will not be reported without your consent.

Security

Your data is safe with us. We prioritize your privacy and use security measures to guarantee the protection of your information.

Our network is made up of volunteers from all over Brazil, trained and committed to offering qualified and welcoming support.

Frequently asked questions

If a volunteer is available, the survivor will receive the professional's contact details by email within a few minutes.
If our system doesn't find a volunteer available at the moment, the survivor will be put on the waiting list and all updates about her request for help will be sent by email.
Yes, just fill in the form stating that you need both categories.
After receiving the volunteer's contact information by email, the survivor will have up to 15 days to contact the professional by phone or WhatsApp and schedule their first appointment. If there is no contact within this period, the request for help will expire.
If there is no volunteer available at the moment, our system will do a daily search until it finds a professional to provide the service. All updates on the waiting list will be sent by email.
